I am writing this letter to encourage anyone who is thinking of getting acupuncture to receive it from Bonnie Kenny L.Ac. Bonnie has been treating me for 10+ years. When I first came to Bonnie I had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. My body was so painful it was difficult for me to even raise my arms. I started seeing Bonnie in 2005. She was referred to me by a friend who spoke very highly of her. My first impression of Bonnie was a wonderful one. She is very kind and generous and really cared about me and my 9 year old daughter. When I met Bonnie, I was looking for something other than the tradition western treatment due to the fact that it was not helping me one bit, but I knew very little of what she practiced. I have been seeing Bonnie since 2005 initially about a stubborn cough she said it wouldn't be a quick fix and it wasn't. The cough lasted about six months, with the herbs she prescribed, my breathing steadily improved. I know this because when I go off the herbs my breathing is much worse. I thought because she is an acupuncturist that everything would be treated with needles that is not true she has used needling on various other issues such as tendonitis, knee pain with great success and yes the little bit of pain is worth the benefits of being healed.
